Glass installations are only to be undertaken by qualified personnel, as glass can be extremely hazardous if not handled appropriately. CUSTOMISED ACRYLIC PANEL WITH HOLE CUTOUT (OPTIONAL) We are able to provide customized Acrylic panels made of superior quality UV protected Acrylic (Perspex) to replace glass panels which cannot be cut, for example, if existing glass is damaged, and these Acrylic panels are often more cost effective than glass replacement. We are able to provide these customized Acrylic panels for any of the pet doors on this web page. The Acrylic panels are available in Clear, Opaque, White or other colours on request. What we require is that the size of the glass panel (height x width) and thickness of the panel required (e.g. 3mm, 4mm etc) is emailed to us on sales@petdoorcompany.com.au , as well as for which pet door the panel is required, and a price will be calculated and emailed back to you. Actual size of the Acrylic panel will be larger than the visible size of your existing glass (as part of your existing glass is behind the trim/beading to hold it in place), and is generally a minimum of 12mm taller than visible size, and a minimum of 12mm wider than visible size. Panel manufacturing will generally take 1 week to be completed and will be sent to you after receipt of order. |
